This story is NC-17 for STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT      Nick/LaCroix

"I'm outta here.  See ya tomorrow night."  Nick left the precinct, jumped into his Caddy,
and headed for the Raven.  He left work early that night.  It was only 2:00 AM, and he
was eager to see LaCroix.  He told Nat he would stop by her office, but decided to skip
it.  Everything had changed recently.  One night three months earlier he had walked into
the  Raven and told LaCroix he wanted to come back..just like that.  LaCroix had been
stunned, and rightly so.  Their arguing had been escalating to the point where they were
ready to pulverize each other, but underneath it all there was an intensity of passion that
LaCroix identified as undeniable love.  Sitting alone at his desk one night, Nicholas finally
admitted to himself that it was true.

That first night together they talked everything over.  LaCroix understood that Nick
needed to keep working...needed to keep his relationship going with the mortal friends he
had grown to care about. Nick also kept his loft.  Both men knew there would be times
when they would need to spend small amounts of time apart.   Then  Nick finally began to
accept the gift LaCroix had given him so long ago.  It was so easy...finally he was home.

For the next three days and nights they had locked themselves away, making love for
hours, stopping just long enough to bathe together and nourish themselves.  LaCroix
watched with sheer joy as Nick drank human blood unashamedly for the first time in ages.
Humans were no longer killed for their blood, and Nick decided it was time to resume the
drinking of it.  He'd almost forgotten how  exquisite the taste was.  More importantly, it
gave him more strength than the cow's blood.  His senses sharpened and he was feeling
stronger.  Now he was heading home to the one man who had completely captured his
heart.  He still couldn't believe it...and they were growing closer every day.

A few minutes later he was at the Raven.  It seemed to be a fairly quiet night as he
looked around.  LaCroix was not there, but he sensed his father was close by, and the
crowd silently parted for him as he headed for LaCroix's office.  Nick walked in quietly
to find LaCroix tearing through his desk whispering curses in twelve different languages
under his breath.  "LaCroix...What the hell are you doing?"  LaCroix looked up and
growled.  "I can't find the bloody things. I keep the whole set together."  Nick was still
confused.  "The whole set of what, LaCroix?"    LaCroix closed his eyes and calmed
himself.  "Keys, my dearest son...keys.  I meant to make a second set, but..."  LaCroix
suddenly bolted up out of the chair and started rummaging through a box in the corner.
Nick plopped down in the chair by the desk and just watched.  "They're not in there
father."   "IMPULSE Nicholas...It was an impulse.  I thought maybe they were in here.
But...what would you know about impulse decisions mon fils.  You beat an idea to
death before acting on it."  LaCroix was snickering under his breathe.  "OH..is that a
fact old man?"  Nicholas rose slowly from the chair.  "Yes my boy...it is."  LaCroix was
really laughing now.  Nick picked up a vase full of fresh flowers and poured the contents,
which included a fair amount of cold water...over the back of LaCroix's head and neck.
LaCroix howled as Nick headed for the door.  "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO
THAT FOR?"  LaCroix  bellowed.  Nick was already out the door when he shouted
back..."IT WAS AN IMPULSE!"

Nick was out the front door of the Raven in a flash.  LaCroix was only seconds behind
him.  There was no need for Nicholas to look back, because he knew LaCroix was right
on his heels.  Nicholas took flight, rising higher and higher above the mortal world.  The
power of living flight was in itself a wildly sensual experience.  But knowing his master
was in hot persuit brought Nick's level of excitement  to a fevered pitch.

Suddenly LaCroix was above him.  Nick felt a strong hand grab him by the back of the
hair.  "HEY, NO FAIR!"  Nick yelled up to LaCroix.  "All is fair in love and war
Nicholas, you know that.  Slow down and I'll release you." Nick was having the time of
his very long life. He slowed down slightly, and LaCroix relaxed his grip on the handful
of curls.  LaCroix lowered himself down gently until he  touched the back of his son's
lithe body.  Any mortal would have seriously doubted their sanity upon looking up at the
sight of these two beautiful unearthly creatures floating effortlessly through the moonless
sky.  LaCroix's arms were wrapped around his son's chest as they silently glided on
pockets of air, the force of gravity have no effect in their immortal bodies.

Nicholas gently pulled his father's hands away and gracefully turned himself over.  He let
his body float upside down, entwining himself sensuously around his father's well muscled
solid form.  LaCroix steadied them both and slowed their progress even more.  The feel
of the air caressing their bodies, and the strange eerie silence of the darkened sky only
added to the already insatiable desire they had for each other.

LaCroix gave up on trying to keep them on a straight and steady course as Nicholas
began exploring every inch of LaCroix's throat with cool wet kisses and tantalizing little
sharp nips. Nicholas became more frenzied, and he pulled LaCroix's silk shirt out of his
pants, ripping it to shreds in an effort to expose his father's cool naked chest.  LaCroix
was quite content to watch remnants of the once custom made shirt float back down to
Earth.

Dr. Natalie Lambert headed through the parking lot of the Coroner's Building.  She was
heading home early for a change.  "WHAT THE!!....."  She looked shocked as a piece
of material landed at her feet.  "Where the hell did this come from?"  The only answer she
would get was another piece landing right on top of her head.  She stood there with a
knowing expression on her face that could have finally made Hell freeze over.  "I won't
look up." She said it to herself over and over as she got into her car.  She  drove  all the
way home without letting her eyes wander any higher than the car's windshield.

High above the city the two lovers continued to remove and rend their clothing to shreds.
All that remained were two naked vampires floating rapturously in the dark sky.  "The
sensation of floating on air never loses it's appeal my son."  LaCroix spoke in whispers as
he pulled Nicholas up against him.  Like a pair of eagles they circled, dove, and rose
again, clinging to each other.  As they rose straight up into the air again Nicholas wrapped
his legs firmly around LaCroix's waist.  LaCroix pulled his son's head in for an explosively
powerful kiss. Nicholas drew his master's tongue into his own mouth, tasting, biting, then
swallowing the rich passion filled blood down his throat.  The vigorous stimulation
Nicholas was inflicting on LaCroix was driving his anciant master insane with desire.

LaCroix slowed them to a near standstill.  Then he covered Nicholas' soft round ass with
his strong hands, slowly spreading his son's luscious cheeks apart.  He raised Nicholas
into a position just above the tip of his erection. Nicholas released LaCroix from the
exquisite kiss and looked into those fire laden eyes.  He could feel his master begin to
press very gently against his sensitive entrance.  "It's alright Nicholas."  LaCroix soothed.
"Slowly...gently now."  Nicholas relaxed completely at the gentle assurance.

They were rising and falling again, letting their passion pull them along.  LaCroix eased his
arms around  his son's back, moving them upward, positioning his wide hands over
Nicholas' shoulders.  He pulled his son down, impaling him very slowly over his cool,
impatient  erection.  Nicholas threw his head back into the night sky letting the intimate
pleasure course through him.  Then, as LaCroix penetrated him fully, Nicholas' head fell
forward, and he buried his face into the pulse point of LaCroix's neck.  The joy of their
union was accentuated by the extraordinary freedom of their living flight.

Slowly...very slowly at first...LaCroix moved in and out of his son's perfect body.  Each
new stroke was deeper, more insistent than the last.  Nicholas held on tightly as he
sighed...moaning  sweetly into the inviting softness of his lover's neck.  All the while they
were moving through the sky...diving, rising, then diving again.  The Earth had no hold
over their passion.

"Nicholas!"...LaCroix finally  spoke.   "Put your arms around my neck mon fils."  Nicholas
obeyed.  Then LaCroix released one hand from his son's shoulder, bringing it down...
wrapping that free hand around his son's hard aching flesh.  Nicholas cried out into the
night as his body reeled from the excessive pleasure.  His legs gripped even tighter around
LaCroix's waist, meeting every one of his master's thrusts passionately.  LaCroix used that
hand expertly to give his son incredible physical gratification.

"And so it should be."...LaCroix thought to himself..."He gives me so much joy...so much
pleasure."  Then LaCroix spoke aloud.  "Nicholas.  I would give you the world if you
asked for it.  Just never leave me again."  Nicholas looked deep into those ancient eyes.
He was so close to the edge he could hardly speak...."Never...OH GOD...Never again
father. I...promise...OH...YES!"

They were nearly three thousand feet into the air as Nicholas threw his head back and
closed his eyes, crying  out from the impact of his incredible climax.  He suddenly lurched
forward and buried his fangs into the soft pale flesh of his father's throat.  LaCroix roared
and came with blinding force deep inside his son's trembling body.  In that instant
LaCroix lost all control, plunging his fangs into the side of his son's delectable neck.  As
the orgasmic thrill swept over them they were in a state of freefall.  They were completely
and utterly immersed in each other as they tumbled down from the sky.  Nicholas was still
in a state of rapture as LaCroix reluctantly slowed his own drinking in order to guide them
down safely to the roof of Nicholas' building.

LaCroix's feet finally touched down as Nicholas began to emerge from his intoxicating state
of euphoria.  Nicholas stopped drinking and rested his head on LaCroix's shoulder. Slowly
Nicholas let his legs drop, and his feet finally touched solid ground again.  LaCroix moved
his hand from Nicholas' shoulder and ran it through the disheveled blond curls.  "We're
home Nicholas."  Nicholas focused his eyes and smiled gently at LaCroix.

"It's a good thing I kept the loft father.  We left the Raven fully clothed.  I wouldn't want to
have to explain our current state."  LaCroix chuckled lightly at his son's comment then
frowned.  "I still have that other problem to go back to Nicholas."    "What other problem
father?"  Nicholas was planting small kisses on LaCroix's chest and  nudging him towards
the skylight.  "Those keys mon fils.  I still have to find them."  They were slowly beginning to
descend down into the loft.  "Oh..."  Nicholas said without so much as a moments thought.
"They're under your desk.  They were under your chair when I sat down...then I pushed
them under your desk."   LaCroix's eyebrows rose right off of his forehead.  "YOU
WHAT!!...Why on Earth did you do that??"   Nicholas wrapped his arms around
LaCroix's neck as they landed on the floor of the loft.  "It was an impulse!!"
